See’s Candies Sale

January 11th, 2012

Students will receive their Valentine’s Campaign Fundraising Packet on Monday, January 23, 2012 from Mrs. Henke during class.  Students will return their packets to the theater no later than Tuesday, January 31st.  There will be a large decorated receptacle on stage for them to be placed in.  Students are asked to sell to their family and friends, and parents can sell to their co-workers. It is not necessary to sell door to door unless you are comfortable doing so.  Money will be collected as you take the orders.  Cash and checks are the only accepted form of payment.  Checks should be made out to:  O.R.T.A.B.  It is important that the order total is added accurately, and that the money collected matches the order total.  Please fill out the form completely and neatly before turning it in.  Students who sell more than $150 of candy will have their name put into a drawing for a $50 gift card for  iTunes.  There will be two to be given away.
Orders will be available for pick-up in the theater lobby on Thursday, February 2nd between 3-6p.m.  If you cannot be there by 6  please wait until the following day between 3-6pm as Thursday is opening night for SLEEPING BEAUTY.

Our site sales for See’s Candy will begin Saturday, February 11th  and end  Tuesday, February 14th.  We will be at two locations.  Safeway (El Dorado Hills) and Village Plaza located at  1011 St. Andrews, Suite I.  I realize the 13th and 14th are weekdays, but Valentine’s Day gifts are historically a last minute purchase so it is important that we sell those last two days.  I realize students will not be able to participate during the day, therefore I really need those parents who are able, to help.  The plan is to have two tables at Safeway, one at each entrance and also have the location at St.Andrews which will be indoors.  Hours will be 10 – 6pm.  We are the only organization on campus that does this fundraiser.  It can be really successful with your help.  Please call if you are able to participate.   Cari Kozak  530 – 409 – 3387

ADDICT
Dec.1, 2, 3, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.
rated PG-13 due to language and content

  Cost: $10

This compelling and dramatic one act written was written by Jerome McDonough and is performed on campuses all over the country.

It is frightening and realistic portrayal about the effects of drug and alcohol abuse meant to convince the young person’s view of  “It can’t happen to me”.  that indeed it can, and does happen, and the dire consequences of those choices.

Proceeds from these performances will benefit the JOHN P. HEALY Scholarship Fund and P.A.R.T.Y. ( prevention of alcohol and risk related trauma in youth)
